On October 28, 2026, Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska chose to endorse Democrat Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins over three Republican candidates in the gubernatorial race, leading to diverse reactions among the GOP contenders. Bernadette Wilson, a primary candidate, voiced strong disappointment and declared her intention to unseat Murkowski, linking the endorsement to her critiques of Kreiss-Tomkins’ policies.
Treg Taylor, another candidate and former attorney general, expressed his dissatisfaction with Murkowski’s endorsement but did not commit to actively opposing her reelection efforts. He took the opportunity to connect Kreiss-Tomkins’ support with the past administrations of Bill Walker and Tony Knowles. In contrast, Dave Bronson, the former Anchorage mayor, took a more conciliatory approach, affirming Murkowski’s right to endorse anyone she wishes while focusing on his own campaign priorities.

J,
I’ve seen your personality type many times during my career.
You have a sexual obsession for Bernadette, this obsession in combination with the knowledge that you, being a weenie loser have zero chance of attacting her affection causes you great angst.
You’re thinking what has Tuck got that I don’t have. Running this equation through your tortured mind you settle on destroying the object you most want.
Seek help, stop the obsession, erase those painful images of Bernadette and Tuck from your mind.
Consider what is best for Alaska and Rank Bernadette as your first choice.

“……Murkowski is correct. The republican party is a joke………”
Well, then, why doesn’t she switch parties with honor instead of continuing to press the joke as a RINO?
Reggie Taylor 2026-10-29
“………Wilson, the leading Republican in the August primary, delivered the strongest response. She portrayed the endorsement as consistent with Murkowski’s politics and promised that, as governor, she would actively work against the senator…………”
That was the best statement I’ve heard out of her.

On a side note, regarding the photo of Princess Lisa: I’ve seen happier faces on salmon pulled from a dipnet.
.
Suzanne does have a knack for digging up photos of our reigning Senate monarch that display her true nature and character — shrill, strident, bitter and nasty.

Larry Bird, don’t be silly!
.
You know darned well that neither Bill Walker nor Johnny Tomkins are ‘top men’.

I lost my respect for Dave Bronson during his term as Anchorage mayor, when he consistently did NOTHING to fight the neoBolshevik agenda of the assembly’s Marxist Nine majority, nor to even oppose it rhetorically. Even if he couldn’t win against them on an assembly vote, or sustain a veto against them, he could have at the very least castigated and condemned them with well-deserved righteous indignation! But no, from Day One he rolled over on his back and pee’d himself like a scared little puppy.
.
Dave Bronson is a real VINO — “Vertebrate-In-Name-Only”.

Only a few issues/problems I have with politicians:
They don’t pay into a retirement system, but the member and their family members receive their pay for life, and then life of surviving spouse.
They don’t pay for medicare/medicaid for themselves or family, but have the outstanding healthcare system for members of congress.
Once elected, they place themselves on a pedestal and think they are above those that elected them, and think we “work” for them, instead of them representing us. I have not seen and politicians in the interior of Alaska, except when its time for elections, even then it is just a “rally”. No real sit downs, meet-n-greets. Yes, they do have local office, but run by staffers, not the elected politicians.

Walker and JKT will be giggling together.

I am still waiting for statements from Rep. Nick Begich and Senator Dan Sullivan. Murkowski’s endorsement of the far left homosexual Democrat will kneecap and undermine everything they accomplish in DC to help Alaska grow and prosper.
leo americus 2026-10-28
Murkowski is correct. The republican party is a joke. They lack leadership and organizational capability. Rank choice voting was not a surprise. They were unable to work with the system. Democrats had no problem. If they lack the ability to organize within their own party clearly they will lack the ability to work with what might be a less than friendly legislature. Also it gets pretty old reading how tough running a business was for Wilson during covid. I had a business during covid as did many other Alaskans. We paid our bills and didn’t bounce checks. In fact more businesses in Alaska started during covid than closed.
Larry Bird 2026-10-28
So now, Bill Walker who has experience in bowing to his superiors, can bend over while JKT gets the last giggle?
😆

At this late date, the only way to stop JKT from becoming governor, is to rank all 3 Republicans in whatever order.
The one to rank #1 is the one who most repeatedly says: “Rank me #1 and make sure to rank the other two 2 and 3.”
I know all 3 candidates think they are the best, but rank #1 the candidate who values the future of Alaska more than their own immediate career advancement, and who is smart and moral enough to repeatedly state: “Rank all 3 of us”.
Fishing for Food 2026-10-28
Trump, JD Vance, Mike Johnson & Tel Aviv Ted didn’t do any favors for Alaska Republicans by coming up here to stump for them! But like the narcissistic losers they are they couldn’t help themselves from injecting themselves into the spotlight. Begich & Sullivan and the Republican Gubernatorial candidates will have a tougher row to hoe because of it.

100% with Morrigan. Only Wilson now. Fuck Dave Bronson, and El Sayed too.

Bronson just crashed his plane intentionally, with all of his supporters onboard.
#1 Wilson
#2Taylor

Let’s show a little grace to Bronson. When he announced his candidacy for Anchorage mayor. He came out of a life of Obscurity into Political superstar. A shining light! Everyone’s favorite. A truck company that used its Trucks to parade his signs down the road and torture the opponent while he was sign waving. Bronson was cheered the loudest when Trump came to Anchorage and even Trump seen Bronson was a favorite.
Then the day came he lost the re election. Then he goes into obscurity.
Not everybody can recover from going spotlight to backstage. Bronson is trying to get back in. But. Politically he’s doing it all wrong. I hope for his sake. God allows one of them to win else most people on the right and moderates won’t be blaming Ms Wilson, they’ll be sharpening their knives not at JKT but Bronson and Taylor for not leaving when they should had.
Andy Dufrain 2026-10-28
Bronson’s statement is all I needed to confirm his motives.
He will never condemn anybody in hopes of jumping on whichever bandwagon reaches the finish line first.
His campaign for mayoral reelection was the last time I donated to any campaign and regret that donation based on his lame campaign he ran against a lame opponent.
His political future is as cooked as last years turkey.
I despise having to rank him last.
Vote YES on two to eliminate this shit show!
Morrigan 2026-10-28
A word from candidate Taylor was all it took to get the “Must Read Alaska” founder out of that job, which indicates the candidate’s position on First Amendment rights.

.
Bronson couldn’t work with, or around, the ideologically oppositional Anchorage Assembly. Apparently Bronson never pursued his complaint about someone seen sticking a thumb drive into vote-tabulation machinery while it was counting his re-election votes. Bronson revealed rhetorical weakness by attacking Wilson almost exclusively.during debate. These things lead one to wonder how Governor Bronson will work with, or around, Alaska’s lobbyist-legislator team.
.
But …we are grateful to Bronson for successfully opposing Anchorage Assembly’s mask mandate!
.
Writer J suggests Wilson, unlike Bronson and Taylor, may not be financially or personally perfect.
.
We know no one who is.
.
So we’ll vote for Wilson because we’re pretty sure what we see is what we’ll get, which forgives a lot of sins right out of the gate.
KinAK 2026-10-28
Bronson failed as mayor, yet he is now asking us to believe he wouldn’t also fail as governor.
I think his latest fantasy is that he’ll be revered as the great spoiler. Meanwhile he gets to keep living off those campaign donations.
